Mangal das Garças Park promotes children's workshop this Sunday (4)
The workshop is free and will promote paper butterfly paintings
Every Sunday, starting at 10 am, the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park holds the children's project Ecoarte. This week, on the 4th, the program will feature a paper butterfly painting workshop. The event is free and takes place around the Navigation Memorial.
With plenty of paint and recyclable materials, children will be able to use all their imagination and creativity to create their paper butterfly artworks. With the help of the animation club monitors, each little one will receive the necessary materials to make their creations.
João Vitor, 10 years old, attended the last edition of the project. “I thought the day was incredible, wonderful, perfect; I have never had such an invaluable experience. I planted in the little pot and I'm excited to take it home,” he commented.
The Ecoarte Project aims to promote environmental education in a relaxed manner and is an initiative of the Government of Pará through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur) and the Social Organization Pará 2000, which manages the Mangal.
