Usina da Paz do Bengui celebrates 3 years with health, citizenship, and leisure action in Belém
Event celebrates over 1.1 million services provided by the unit with a special program for the community, including free services and cultural attractions
The Government of the State of Pará, through the Secretary of Citizenship Articulation (Seac), promotes this Saturday (3), starting at 8 am, a large action of citizenship, health, and leisure in celebration of the three years of operation of the Usina da Paz Padre Bruno Sechi, in the Bengui neighborhood, in Belém.
Inaugurated on May 4, 2022, the unit was the fourth UsiPaz delivered in the state and the second implemented in the capital of Pará. Since then, the complex has established itself as a reference in free services for the population, marking a milestone in the social transformation of the neighborhood.
Over these three years, UsiPaz Bengui has already provided more than 1.1 million services in areas such as health, sports, culture, education, and professional qualification. Daily, the unit offers more than 70 services to the community, reinforcing the State's commitment to inclusion and citizenship.
The Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga, highlights the importance of the date and invites the population to participate in the celebration. “We are preparing a special program so that the entire Bengui community can celebrate the anniversary of the Usina da Paz. This is a public facility that has changed the reality of the neighborhood, ensuring services and opportunities for children, youth, adults, and the elderly,” said the head of Seac.
The anniversary program will offer a series of free services, including health services, document issuance, aesthetic actions, services from the State Public Defender's Office and the State Coordination of People with Disabilities (Ceped), as well as recreational activities for children, services from the Citizen's Desk, cultural attractions, and raffles.
With a spacious and modern structure, the Usina da Paz do Bengui features a multi-sports gym, a grass football field, a swimming pool, a sand court, audiovisual and digital inclusion rooms, health service and legal consultancy areas, spaces for technical and vocational training, as well as rooms dedicated to dance, theater, robotics, music education, martial arts, and a community library.
