General Comptroller opens free registrations for the I Seminar on Audit and Internal Control

The State General Comptroller (CGE) has opened registrations for the I Seminar on Audit and Internal Control, which will be held on the next 23rd (Friday), in partnership with the State Department of Finance (Sefa), at the auditorium of the Court of Justice of the State of Pará, in Belém.

To celebrate the International Month of Awareness for Internal Audit (May), the event will have the theme "Risk Management and Preventive Controls for the Transformation of Public Management," and will bring together internal auditors, internal control professionals, civil servants, public managers, and specialists to discuss the best strategies and practices aimed at the preventive control of risks, with an emphasis on improving public management in the State.

According to the State General Comptroller, there will be in-person slots available for internal auditors, internal control professionals, civil servants, and public managers, who can register until May 16 (Friday), through the link.

Registrations can be made until May 22 (Thursday) to fill the online slots, aimed at controllers, auditors, accountants, students, entrepreneurs, and other interested professionals. To follow the program, it is necessary to complete the registration through the electronic form.

The Seminar aims to reinforce the importance of auditing as an essential tool for transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement of the State's administrative and financial processes.

According to the State General Controller, Marcos Cantuária, the event will be fundamental to promote the exchange of experiences and best practices among professionals from the agencies, assisting in the dissemination of more efficient management and control methods. "By organizing the program, the CGE demonstrates its commitment to improving internal audit, which ensures rigorous monitoring of administrative processes to help prevent fraud, corruption, and waste, promoting a more transparent and fair public management," he emphasized.
