Participants of the "Women's Haircut" and "Cupcake Production" courses received their certificates on Thursday morning (08) at UsiPaz Prof. Amintas Pinheiro, in Icuí-Guajará, Ananindeua. The special program, in honor of Mother's Day, was organized by the ParáPaz Foundation in partnership with the State Secretariat for Citizenship Articulation (Seac).

Aldineide de Lima receives certificate after completing the haircut course

Among the students was Aldineide de Lima, 39, who has been working as a hairdresser for four years. She took the course to improve her techniques and expand her knowledge, and is now eager to put into practice what she learned.

“I already have a space to receive my clients, but I always like to stay updated; there is always something new to learn, and this free course enabled my learning. I really enjoyed it, I was able to film some haircuts, and now I hope to have more and more clients,” Aldineide said.

In addition to the certification, the women had access to blood pressure measurement, raffle prizes, and beauty services, ensuring a moment of care and appreciation.

The program continues this Friday (09) with the certification of the bio-jewelry course, which teaches how to transform natural materials into handmade pieces. With a duration of 40 hours and conducted in partnership with Senar, the course is an opportunity to develop creativity and stimulate entrepreneurship, allowing students to discover new ways to increase their income and value manual work.

Rita Melo celebrates the training and highlights the impact of the courses at UsiPaz

For Rita Melo, general coordinator of the ParáPaz Foundation at UsiPaz, the offering of these courses is a chance for life change. "In a context where the Amazon is at the center of global discussions, with the holding of COP 30, ParáPaz's actions reinforce the importance of inclusive, sustainable, and transformative public policies. The offering of courses such as bio-jewelry making allows for contact with and conscious use of elements from nature, generating income and even a professional discovery,” she emphasized.
