Mangal das Garças offers workshop in celebration of Mother's Day
The Zoobotanical Park will hold a children's project Ecoarte edition in celebration of the date, with a pendant workshop

Celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May, Mother's Day is a very special and significant moment. Therefore, on the 11th, the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park will hold an edition of the children's project Ecoarte in celebration of this date, with a pendant workshop to gift your mother figure. The program takes place around the Navigation Memorial and starts at 10 am.
The Animation Club has prepared a workshop filled with colors and lots of love. With wool and recycled cardboard, children will create their own heart pendants to gift their moms. There is nothing more important than spending this date alongside your mother figure with a unique morning in a welcoming environment.
“Mother's Day is a moment of welcome, affection, and love. Spending this date with our family in a place where everyone can have fun together is essential. Ecoarte offers exactly that: a space where mothers, children, and the whole family share laughter, hugs, and unforgettable memories amidst nature,” comments Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing Coordinator of OS Pará 2000, the company that manages Mangal.
After the children's activity, the Park will continue to operate normally, making it the perfect choice to enjoy the rest of this commemorative date. With options for restaurants, cafes, and ice cream parlors, visitors can enjoy the view while they relax.
The monitored spaces will also be open, such as the José Márcio Ayres Reserve (butterfly houses), the Navigation Memorial, and the Belém Lighthouse, with an entrance fee of R$9.00 (half: R$4.50). Tickets must be purchased in advance at the ticket office.

In addition, Mangal has a daily program. Check it out:
8:30 am – Iguana feeding
9 am – Mini raptor tour (Tuesday to Friday)
10 am – Butterfly release (consult in advance at the ticket office)
10:15 am – Turtle feeding
