Government of Pará delivers works that expand access to health, education, and social assistance services in Curionópolis
Paving of roads, health unit, daycare, school, and social equipment are part of the delivery package that benefits thousands of residents of the municipality

The governor of the State of Pará, Helder Barbalho, participated this Friday (9) in the delivery of a series of works in Curionópolis, in the southeastern region of the state. The initiatives include the paving of the road that connects the municipality to the Serra Pelada region, the delivery of Av. Brasil, which underwent a restructuring and urbanization process to improve vehicle traffic and pedestrian safety; and the delivery of equipment in the areas of health, education, social assistance, and leisure, promoting significant advances in the quality of life of the local population.
“It is a great satisfaction to be here, delivering works that represent development, dignity, and care for people. These are investments that improve the lives of those who live here and build a better future for the municipality,” highlighted Governor Helder Barbalho during the ceremony.
CRAS Panorama
One of the deliveries was the Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) Panorama, located in the Jardim Panorama neighborhood. With approximately 929 m² of built area, the unit has the capacity to serve up to 2,500 families in situations of social vulnerability. The space includes rooms for socio-assistance activities, as well as a sports court and swimming pool, contributing to the strengthening of community ties and the promotion of well-being.

Health Unit in Planalto Neighborhood
The new health post in the Planalto neighborhood was also delivered. The unit, with 374 m², has medical offices, an examination room, a pharmacy, and other spaces aimed at basic health care.

Nurse Jucilene Souza Silva, who works in the municipal network, celebrated the new structure. “It is very gratifying. We have been waiting for this delivery for a long time. We received a new unit and we are very happy.”
Education: Daycare and School Delivered
The delivery agenda also included the Maria Mãe Daycare, which will serve children from 8 months to 5 years old. The unit has the capacity for 188 students per shift and has educational rooms, diaper changing areas, and an industrial kitchen, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for child development.

Another delivered work was the Domingos Martins School, located in the Frei Henri Camp. With 801 m² of built area, the institution offers education for early childhood, elementary education, and Youth and Adult Education (EJA). Currently, 150 students are enrolled. The space includes classrooms, a covered sports court, and accessible infrastructure.
Public Square for Leisure and Community
Concluding the program, the governor delivered the new Raimundo Ferreira Square, also located in the Frei Henri Camp. The public space has 3,173 m² and was designed to encourage leisure and community interaction. The square features a playground, an area for sports activities, and parking.

Municipal server Jonas Araújo emphasized the importance of the investments. “I thank the mayor and the governor as a server. They looked at our workplace and, above all, at the population. They are delivering a quality structure for everyone,” he stated.
