Regional Hospital of Tapajós promotes outdoor self-care action for Mother's Day
The action included a lecture and activities focused on the reception and well-being of employees and companions

In honor of Mother's Day, the Regional Hospital of Tapajós (HRT), in Itaituba, in the southwest of Pará, held a special program aimed at employees and mothers accompanying patients. Organized by the Humanization Commission of the unit, the initiative offered moments of relaxation, listening, and self-care essential for those living intense days alongside those who need hospital care.
The program included relaxing massage sessions, aesthetic services such as eyebrow care, as well as a motivational lecture on the theme "Motivation Bath," addressing topics such as self-care, self-love, acceptance, and forgiveness.

For Silvana Muniz Martins, 40, who accompanies her daughter hospitalized in the unit, "this program helped relieve stress. It was special, especially at such a delicate moment. I found motivation to remain optimistic about my daughter's recovery," she reported emotionally.
On Saturday, the 10th, the action extended beyond the walls of the unit: mothers participated in a morning of outdoor physical exercises in a city square, with light and aerobic activities. The moment marked the integration of physical and emotional health, encouraging accessible well-being practices in daily life.

Carlos Henrique, the unit's care manager, highlighted: "We thought of a program that really reached all the mothers in our unit. It is a simple gesture, but with great significance, as it provides a moment of relaxation, care, and personal appreciation," he stated.
The general director of the unit, Jefferson Barbosa, also emphasized: "This action represents the hospital's commitment to care not only for patients but also for those who are by their side. Taking this care outside the unit was a symbolic and necessary gesture, as it brings the hospital even closer to the community and shows that reception and humanization are an essential part of our mission," he highlighted.
The Regional Hospital of Tapajós, managed by the Social Institute Mais Saúde in partnership with the State Department of Public Health (Sespa), is a unit belonging to the Government of Pará, with 153 beds, including Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal ICUs. The hospital reinforces its commitment to public health by providing quality services to the region's population.
