Interiorization Project of the Carlos Gomes Foundation holds recital at Usipaz Marabá
The students who performed at the recital are part of the first class of the musicalization hub of the project at the Usina da Paz in Marabá

The students of the recorder, from the Interiorization project of the Carlos Gomes Foundation, presented the first recital of the class at the theater of the Usina da Paz in Marabá, southeastern Pará. The event was attended by the community and the students' mothers, who received a special tribute from the music students of the project.
The first performance of the recorder students of teacher Mikaely Lima honored the mothers served at the Usina da Paz in Marabá. "Our musicalization students performed for the first time in the course. The class made a special tribute to the 150 mothers of our community. The children and young people were very excited for this moment; we played the songs 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' and 'Old Childhood'," comments teacher Mikaely, who teaches musicalization to the class of 30 students from Marabá.

The students, who are between 11 and 17 years old, are from the first class of the interiorization project in Marabá. The classes take place at the Usina da Paz and aim to promote musical education in municipalities in the interior of the State. According to the project director, Alexandra Martins, "the interiorization project of the Carlos Gomes Foundation carries out different actions focused on music in the municipalities of the State such as: workshops with conductors and musicians from bands, regular musicalization classes held at the Usinas da Paz, performances and masterclasses with teachers from the Carlos Gomes State Institute, in addition to forming partnerships with city halls, musical and educational organizations," points out Alexandra.
