The Pará Center for Hemotherapy and Hematology Foundation (Hemopa), in partnership with the Brazilian Army, held a blood donation campaign on Wednesday (14) at the headquarters of the 8th Military Region, in the Comércio neighborhood, in Belém. The initiative aims to strengthen the stocks of the state blood network and encourage voluntary donation among military personnel.

With a structure composed of a mobile unit and an adapted trailer, the action was organized by the Administration and Support Base of the 8th Military Region, ensuring comfort and safety for donors.

Vanessa Pimentel - Social Worker at Hemopa Foundation

Social worker Vanessa Pimentel highlighted the relevance of the mobilization. "Campaigns with the Army usually have high participation. The institution already has a history of engagement with the cause and contributes significantly to maintaining blood stocks at adequate levels," she stated.
