The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat for Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), announced this Friday (16), in the State Official Gazette (DOE), Resolution No. 001/2025, which authorizes the implementation of the Expression of Interest Procedure (PMI) for the selection of technical studies on the feasibility of an energy transition project under the direct administration of Pará.

The proposal seeks to encourage the use of renewable sources, with an emphasis on photovoltaic energy, promoting greater energy efficiency, cost reduction, and environmental sustainability. The goal is to expand the use of clean energy in public structures, reducing dependence on fossil fuels and greenhouse gas emissions, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7).

Interested parties can submit proposals for 30 days from the publication of the notice, through the official Sedeme website, where the notice is available for download.

Individuals or legal entities can participate, individually or in groups, without the need for formal ties between participants. In addition to the required studies, proposers may present innovative solutions that improve the economic and operational feasibility of the project.

The Selection Committee will be responsible for analyzing the proposals, choosing the one that receives the highest score, according to the criteria stipulated in the notice.

For more information, interested parties can contact the Concessions Directorate (DCON) of SEDEME, by appointment or via email at [email protected].

The Secretary of State for Economic Development, Mining and Energy, Paulo Bengtson, emphasizes that the launch of the PMI represents a strategic advance in the modernization of the energy sector in the State of Pará. "By encouraging sustainable solutions for public administration, we reinforce our commitment to energy transition and carbon emission reduction. This initiative is directly aligned with the preparations for COP 30, which will take place in our state, and highlights Pará's leadership in the global climate agenda and the promotion of renewable energy sources."
