Operation Maximum Load: PMPA seizes drugs and executes arrest warrant in Terra Santa
The action is part of Operation Maximum Load and also resulted in the arrest of a fugitive from justice

On this Saturday (24), military personnel from the 41st Military Police Battalion (41st BPM), based in the municipality of Terra Santa, conducted an inspection at the city’s ports and approached a boat coming from the municipality of Parintins, in the state of Amazonas. During the searches, two passengers were caught carrying drugs.
One of the suspects was transporting approximately 17 kg of a substance similar to skunk, while the other had about 14 kg of the same substance, in addition to three mobile phones. The operation also resulted in the location of a third man with an outstanding arrest warrant for violating a protective measure.
All three were arrested in the act and taken, along with the seized illegal material, to the Civil Police Station of Terra Santa, where the case was registered.

The commander of the 41st BPM, Major Figueira, emphasized the importance of actions against trafficking in the region. “This work is one of the guidelines of our command and is especially necessary in the municipality of Terra Santa, which borders the state of Amazonas, and we know that it is one of the trafficking routes. Drug trafficking is dynamic and is always evolving to try to evade inspection. On the other hand, the Military Police have been decisive in their actions, managing to remove a significant amount of drugs from circulation,” he stated.
The action is part of Operation Maximum Load, through which the Military Police acts strategically in combating drug trafficking, focusing on the safety of the rivers and cities of western Pará, reaffirming its mission to serve and protect the population.
