With the support of the Government of Pará, Pará athlete qualifies for Mr. Olympia 2025
Manuella Lima won a championship in the USA and is the first Brazilian qualified in the Figure Pro category for the 2025 edition of the largest tournament in the modality

The Pará bodybuilder Manuella Lima achieved a historic feat for Brazilian sports by winning the Optimum Classic, an international competition held on May 24 in the United States, and secured her qualification for Mr. Olympia 2025 — the main championship of professional bodybuilding worldwide, held annually in Las Vegas. With this, Manuella became the first Brazilian officially qualified in the Figure Pro category for the next edition of the event.
The achievement was supported by the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), and was celebrated by the athlete on Tuesday (3), during a visit to the headquarters of the secretariat in Belém, to thank for the support she received throughout her preparation and participation in competitions in the United States.

The secretary of Seel, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the importance of state support for high-performance sports. "I received the athlete Manuella Lima with great joy, who shone and represented Pará in one of the largest bodybuilding competitions in the world. This achievement is the result of her ability, dedication, and perseverance. The State Government, through Seel, is committed to supporting our talents, and the result is there: Pará athletes standing out in the main national and international arenas."

Manuella Lima faced a marathon of challenges on American soil. In May, she participated in three high-level championships: she placed 10th in the Pittsburgh Pro (Pennsylvania), 9th in the traditional New York Pro, and finally won the Optimum Classic in Louisiana, securing the title and a spot in Mr. Olympia 2025, which will take place from October 9 to 12 in Las Vegas.
The athlete celebrated the achievement with emotion and gratitude. "This title represents the realization of a dream. Every bodybuilder dreams of stepping on the Mr. Olympia stage, and thanks to the support of the Government of Pará, we achieved first place. It is an immense happiness to be among the best in the world. I am already preparing for Las Vegas, and we will fight to bring this title to Pará and Brazil," she stated.
Successful Journey - A native of Belém, Manuella Lima began her journey in sports practicing crossfit, until she transitioned to weightlifting and later to competitive bodybuilding. With professional guidance and absolute focus, she began to stand out in regional and national competitions. Shortly after her debut, she secured second place, missing the podium only by technical details.

The big leap came in April 2024, during her participation in the Arnold Classic Brazil, one of the largest events in the modality in the country. There, her performance earned her the status of professional athlete (IFBB Pro), a necessary condition to compete in the main tournaments of the international circuit.

Today, Manuella Lima is considered one of the top athletes in Northern Brazil, a reference for young bodybuilders and a symbol of strength and determination in Pará sports. Her presence at Mr. Olympia not only represents a personal achievement but also elevates the name of Pará and Brazil in the global bodybuilding scene.
