Free June Hat Workshop Brings Joy to Children at Mangal das Garças This Sunday (15)
Activity is part of the Ecoarte project and aims to stimulate creativity and appreciation of Pará's cultural traditions
The June festival atmosphere will invade the Mangal das Garças Zoobotanical Park this Sunday (15), with a special edition of the children's project Ecoarte. Starting at 10 a.m., around the Navigation Memorial, children of all ages can participate for free in a fun workshop for making June hats.
Each participant will receive a straw hat to decorate as they wish, using colorful ribbons, glue, and plenty of creativity. The proposal is to stimulate contact with Pará's June traditions and strengthen the bond with local culture through a playful and colorful activity.
“June has a unique energy, full of culture and traditions. And there is nothing better than involving children in a fun and affectionate way. That’s why Ecoarte proposes activities that awaken creativity, care for the environment, and the value of our cultural roots,” highlights Fernanda Scaramuzzini, marketing coordinator of OS Pará 2000, the organization responsible for managing Mangal.
The children's projects held in the space are promoted by the Government of Pará, through the State Tourism Secretariat (Setur), in partnership with the Social Organization Pará 2000. The actions aim to raise environmental awareness among children in a light and educational manner, always combining fun and learning.

Admission: Free entry. For monitored spaces (butterfly house, memorial, and lighthouse), the fee is R$ 9.00 (half: R$ 4.50).
