The last night of Parárraiá 2025 was marked by much joy and emotion from the audience this Sunday (15). The event featured memorable shows celebrating the largest São João in the Amazon, at the popular festival held in the parking lot of Mangueirão. With the support of the State Government, the free program was a success with performances by national artists, including Joelma, Nattan, Mari Fernandez, Pablo, and Rebeca Lindsay, and the brilliance of beautiful and traditional June festivals was not lacking.

“Absolute success, the organization made an event where people could have fun. The population was cordial and harmonious. There were no incidents reported. Everyone was in the spirit of São João. Fun, joy, in a democratic way. Without needing to pay for tickets. And the structure was huge,” highlighted Governor Helder Barbalho.

Helder Barbalho assured that the event is already on Pará's calendar. "Now it's time to plan the next one. And the idea is to divide the event into more than one weekend. So that people can rest a bit. Everyone was able to celebrate this good moment of Pará's and June's culture. And there were people who could earn extra income by selling their products. Without a doubt, an absolute success. We had two days where the rain made it difficult for people to enjoy. But the population accepted the invitation to have fun, and thousands of people were able to attend the event with much peace and joy,” said the governor.

The attractions of the last night of Parárraiá lifted the audience, which once again filled the space. Painter Jardel Reis, 41, enjoyed the event accompanied by his wife, mother, and their little dog Pérola.

“I was here on the first day and it was excellent. And we decided to come again today. Even Pérola came. We live nearby and decided to take advantage of Sunday to watch the shows. I feel safe here, there is security. The event is well organized. And today we want to watch Joelma's show,” commented worker Jardel.

Valuing Pará's culture

The first to perform this Sunday, Rebeca Lindsay brought a mix of different musical styles, such as technomelody, brega, and forró. Then, singer Joelma took the stage to the delight of the legion of fans waiting for the Pará native.

Joelma presented the São João 2025 tour with “Arraiá Isso É Calypso,” and sang hits like “Temporal” and “Voando pro Pará,” the new single “Só Like,” and other tracks from the project "Isso É Calypso Tour Brasil." She also presented a block dedicated to June songs.

'How I dreamed of this,' said Joelma about the big June festival at Mangueirão
“When I started doing shows in the Northeast during São João, I would ask myself: Why doesn’t mine have this? Now it does. How I dreamed that our culture would be known throughout Brazil. And there are no artists without their admirers,” said Joelma.

Administrative assistant Josi Dias, 42, was anxious for Joelma's show. She said that since she learned about the performance, she prepared to see one of the main attractions of the night.

“I came last year and now I’m here again. Joelma is part of my life story. I’m a big fan. This event opens doors for many things. For example, for people financially, who are here working to earn money. It moves all of Pará,” emphasized Josi Dias.

Closing the female performances of the night, Mari Fernandez paraded her biggest hits and mixed reinterpretations of sertanejos and forrós. The singer went into the crowd.
Then it was Nattan's turn to take command of the party. The “dad of the year” brought the energy and excitement that the Pará audience knows very well, singing hits like “Morena,” “Nunca mais,” and “Última Noite.”

Bahian artist Pablo performed next. A star of arrocha, the singer captivated the audience with romantic songs that made him a highlight in the country.

Four days of festivities and memorable shows

The event began on Thursday (12), Valentine's Day, gathering thousands of people to the sounds of Gusttavo Lima, Manu Bahtidão, Erick Land, Os Caras do Arrocha, and Carabao. On Friday (13), the audience again showed up in large numbers to check out the shows of the renowned duo Chitãozinho and Xororó, as well as Xand Avião, Felipe Amorim, and Viviane Batidão.

On Saturday (14), it was the turn of Thiago Costa, Jonas Esticado, Léo Foguete, Lendário Rubi, and Wesley Safadão to energize the tens of thousands of people who enjoyed the third day of the event.

Besides the shows, the audience enjoyed the traditional June festivals

Retiree Natalina Matos, 62, was accompanied by her husband, João Matos, 63. The two watched the performance of the “Renovação São João” festival.

“I think the event is great. It’s the first time I’ve come and I liked it. We’ve been to several June festivals in the Northeast and this one is very good,” said Natalina.

Public Safety

During the four days of the event, about 6,000 public agents from the Military Police, Civil Police, Fire Department, Traffic Department (Detran), and Scientific Police acted in integrated actions to ensure safety and tranquility for the population.

From the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICCM), agents monitored security camera images in real-time and stayed in contact with teams working in the parking lot and around Mangueirão, facilitating decision-making in case of any incidents.

The public encountered 30 control and monitoring points, with personal searches, drone support, security cameras, and a visible presence of uniformed personnel in the internal and external areas of the stadium. Additionally, there were medical assistance posts supported by state hospitals and teams from the Fire Department.
