Government of Pará delivers equipment to strengthen family farming
In total, 44 pieces of equipment were delivered, including agricultural machines, boats, and tractors. The initiative is part of the Pará Rural program, secured through parliamentary amendments.

The governor of Pará, Helder Barbalho, delivered on this Monday, the 16th, agricultural machines, boats, and tractors to the municipalities of Anajás, Barcarena, Limoeiro do Ajuru, Porto de Moz, São Sebastião da Boa Vista, Anapu, Curuçá, Acará, São Domingos do Capim, Pau D’Arco, Concórdia do Pará, Melgaço, and Ipixuna do Pará. The initiative is part of the Pará Rural program and secured through parliamentary amendments.
“Today, we are delivering 3 million and 600 thousand reais in equipment for rural production in our State. With this, we strengthen family farming, the rural producer, in every corner of this State,” said the head of the executive. He also emphasized that this equipment is to make life easier for producers. “May this material assist and allow the rural worker to work on their land, produce with more intensity, technology, generating more jobs, income, and putting food on the tables of the people of Pará,” he concluded.

The president of Pará Rural, Felipe Picanço, highlighted the importance of actions like this, which strengthen family farming in Pará.
“It is very important to boost family farming, strengthen the small producer and the production chain in a COP year; this is very beneficial. It is very important to ensure that the small producer can do their work safely, benefiting the municipalities and communities,” he explained.
“These pieces of equipment are very important for our municipality. They will improve our roads, our rural roads, our family farming, and even the cleaning of the city. So, I want to express my gratitude to Governor Helder, to Vice Governor Hana, and to the deputies,” said the mayor of Porto de Moz, Rivaldo Campos.
