Mangal das Garças promotes children's June workshop this Sunday
Participation is free and activities start at 10 AM around the Navigation Memorial
In a June atmosphere, the Zoobotanical Park Mangal das Garças, in Belém, will hold a special edition of the children's project Ecoarte this Sunday, the 22nd, featuring traditional June games and a workshop for making little oxen. Participation is free and activities start at 10 AM around the Navigation Memorial.
Combining fun and culture, the Animation Club has prepared a special Sunday morning for the kids to immerse themselves in the São João festivities. With various activities and the production of their own little oxen, the little ones will have the opportunity to expend energy and connect with Pará's culture.
“Celebrating traditions from childhood is essential to create a connection with our culture. In addition to stimulating creativity, sociability, and child development, children create unique memories,” comments Fernanda Scaramuzzini, Marketing Coordinator of OS Pará 2000, which manages Mangal das Garças.
The children's projects promoted in the Park are an initiative of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Tourism (Setur), and are carried out by the Social Organization Pará 2000. The actions aim to raise environmental awareness among children in a light and educational manner, always combining fun and learning.

Ticket: Free entry. For monitored spaces (butterfly house, memorial, and lighthouse), the fee is R$ 9.00 (half: R$ 4.50).
