Fapespa participates in training for the operationalization of the new submission system for PPSUS calls
Promoted by the Ministry of Health, the training introduced the servers to SISC&T, the system for submitting proposals for the public calls of the Research for SUS Program

The teams from the Scientific Directorate (Dicet) and the Directorate of Technical Operations (Ditec) of the Amazon Foundation for Support of Studies and Research (Fapespa) received training on the operational techniques of SISC&T, the system for submitting proposals for the public calls of the Research for SUS Program: Shared management in health (PPSUS) on Tuesday (27).
The training was led by Jéssica Pedroso, technical consultant of PPSUS at the Ministry of Health. "Today we conducted a training on our system, which is SISC&T, where all submissions and all analysis and judgment of the submitted proposals are made," she explained.
According to the coordinator of Dicet, Carina Silva, the training was important to ensure efficiency in the evaluation of the proposals of the Call. "The operationalization of this call is joint between Sespa, Fapespa, and PPSUS, so we are here receiving training on how to handle your system, how we will carry out all evaluations, thus ensuring transparency, speed, and efficiency in the evaluation of all proposals for this call."
In Pará, the program is funded by Fapespa, in partnership with the State Department of Public Health of Pará (Sespa), the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Health (Decit/MS), and CNPq, through Call n°006/2025.
The notice seeks to invest in scientific and technological research projects that propose solutions to the main challenges of public health in the State. The goal is to develop innovative products, processes, or solutions with potential for implementation in primary, specialized, or hospital care of SUS.
"We are launching calls in all 27 units of the Federation, and these are research projects funded with a focus on local reality. It is very important because we fund research that will actually be applied and will address local public health issues," emphasized Jéssica Pedroso.
About PSSUS - Conducted in partnership with Sespa, Decit/MS, and CNPq, the program is aimed at PhD researchers with effective ties to non-profit scientific or higher education institutions, in order to submit proposals that directly address the needs of the Unified Health System (SUS) in Pará.
Call n°006/2025 will invest R$ 6 million in scientific and technological research projects that propose solutions to the main challenges of public health in the State of Pará.
The 8th edition of the program has the following priority axes: health care with equity and comprehensiveness in the context of the State of Pará, management of work and education in health, technologies and economics in health, risk surveillance and health issues for individuals and communities with an emphasis on disease control, health issues, and deaths, gender, race, and ethnicity equity in SUS, and Amazonian specificities.
Previously scheduled to end on 20/06, the deadline for submitting proposals for the 8th edition of the program in Pará has been extended to 30/06. "Fapespa has extended the deadline for submitting proposals for the PPSUS call. Thus, you have an extended opportunity to register and submit your proposal on priority themes for the health area in the State of Pará," stated coordinator Carina Silva.
