The autonomous Edileuza Silva is one of the 40 thousand people benefited from the delivery of definitive land titles in Pará, since the beginning of the current management of the State Government, through the Institute of Lands of Pará (Iterpa). On the morning of this Wednesday (25), 588 people were benefited in Santo Antônio do Tauá, in northeastern Pará. "This is an achievement, we dreamed a lot about this moment. Now, my son and I have more security. I have no words to express so much happiness," celebrates Edileuza.

More than 20 communities - 1º de Maio, Campo Limpo, Campo Serrado I, Campo Serrado II, Furo do Arauê, João Coelho I, KM 29, Laranjal, Monte Sião, Monte Sião II, Monte Sião III, Nossa Senhora do Bom Remédio, Quarta Travessa, Santo Estevão, São Brás, São Luiz da Laura, São Sebastião, Vila Alegre, Vila São Francisco and Vista Alegre - were benefited by the initiative, which promotes the state land regularization policy, in order to ensure the right to rural and urban property, with greater legal security.

"We understand the importance of regularization for the development of our State, so that we can empower men and women in the countryside, so that we can generate more jobs, increase Pará's production, provide legal security for families and, above all, be able to do what is the right of families. This increasingly values the land of our Pará, values the government's action and sustainable development," highlights the vice-governor, Hana Ghassan, who participated in the ceremony.

From 2019 to 2025, 757 land titles were delivered in the municipality, which ranks 11th in the State in land regularization.

Jeremias Cardoso da Cruz - rural producer

Rural producer from the Campo Limpo community, Jeremias Cruz, says he has been waiting for this delivery for over 30 years. "The dream of every small producer is to have a definitive title to guarantee their own land and be able to work with security, with everything necessary to have legality. I am very happy with this initiative and this privilege of taking this very important step," he points out.

The specialized action of Iterpa and the Housing Company of Pará (Cohab), in land and housing regularization throughout the state territory, contributes to combating violence in the countryside, illegal deforestation, and land grabbing, by promoting sustainable development and improving the quality of life for people living and working in rural areas.

Maria de Nazaré Soares da Silva - farmer

"This regularization will change a lot in my life and in the lives of all the beneficiaries, mainly because we will have access to benefits and loans that will enhance our work, our quality of life. We can only thank the State Government for this attention," celebrates farmer Maria de Nazaré Silva, a resident of the São Sebastião community.

The mayor of the municipality, Rodrigo Amorim, who also participated in the deliveries, celebrated the progress for Santo Antônio do Tauá. "This moment is historic for our city. With this work, we guarantee, in addition to legal security, access to credit, access to the dignity of the population. We can only thank for this initiative," he says.

Reference – In a comparison, a field program that used to take around eight years to deliver land titles to family producers has now been realized in an average of 40 days. This is one of the reasons why Iterpa has become a national reference in land regularization, as well as the investments in innovation and technology.

"Carrying out this historic delivery in Santo Antônio do Tauá was only possible due to the dedication of our professionals, committed to realizing the dreams of so many families, aligned with the commitment of the State Government. Today, Pará is the state that regularizes the most land in Brazil. No other state has managed to reach our mark, which has already surpassed 40 thousand titles delivered in this management," emphasizes Bruno Kono, head of Iterpa.
