State Government holds the 6th edition of the job fair for PWDs and rehabilitated individuals from INSS in Belém
The action offered various essential services for free. Among the services provided, the registration at Sine, the offering of job vacancies, and interviews conducted on-site directly with some employers stood out.

The State Government, through the State Secretariat for Social Assistance, Labor, Employment, and Income (Seaster), held this Thursday (26), the sixth edition of the job fair, focusing on inclusion and valuing diversity in the workforce. The event, held at the Integrated Center for Inclusion and Citizenship (CIIC) in the Marco neighborhood, Belém, specifically served people with disabilities and workers rehabilitated by the National Institute of Social Security (INSS).
The action offered various essential services for citizenship and employability for free. Among the services provided, the registration in the National Employment System (Sine), the offering of job vacancies, and interviews conducted on-site directly with some employers stood out, in addition to the issuance of the General Registry (RG), referrals for birth certificates, PIS consultations, issuance of the digital work card, and in partnership with the State Secretariat of Health (Sespa), vaccinations were administered, such as the triple viral vaccine, tetanus, and yellow fever.

For Felipe Bordalo, coordinator of CIIC, the realization of the event represents an advance in the State's labor and income policy, combating ableism and promoting social inclusion.
“The fair has been happening since 2019, and this is the first one this year. We have nine companies here, and through them, many job vacancies are being offered. The goal is to connect the employee to these companies, to raise awareness about the importance of having people with disabilities in the workforce, combating ableism and offering opportunities to those in need. We also promote sign language workshops in partnership with the HR departments of the companies, and we plan to hold a lecture on the issue of prejudice,” said Felipe Bordalo.
With immediate hiring vacancies, the fair reinforced the commitment of the Government of Pará to expand opportunities for the inclusion of groups that have historically faced barriers to accessing formal employment.
“Carrying out this action is of utmost importance because we work tirelessly to ensure that everyone achieves their financial stability and fulfills their personal and professional growth aspirations. We increasingly seek to act in favor of people in vulnerable situations, generating more jobs and income for the development of our State,” emphasized Inocencio Gsaparim, head of Seaster.

“Participating in this job fair promoted by Seaster is extremely important for me. Especially because, for those who are struggling to find a job, getting a chance is difficult. But here I was very well attended, I felt a real welcome. The staff at the center is very attentive, I was well guided and managed to be interviewed. In a way, I am hopeful of getting a job soon. I am very grateful for the initiative,” said Rhamyle Marques.
The fair also strengthened the role of CIIC as a reference space in promoting public policies aimed at inclusion and equity. The Government of Pará, through Seaster, will continue to promote actions in different regions of the State, contributing to a fairer, more inclusive society with decent work for the people of Pará.
“I came here today because, after many interviews, tests, and selections, I still haven't found a job, and I believe the reason is that I am a PWD. I have education, but I can't find a position in the market. I believe that here I will have an opportunity. I see that there are other people in the same situation as me and I hope this encouragement brings us motivation, because it seems that when we don't have a job, we are nothing,” says Tânia Evangelista.
