This Saturday (28), more than 100 students from the Military Police of Pará's Training Course (CFP) participated in a solidarity action at the Hemotherapy and Hematology Center of Pará (Hemopa) in Belém. The main objective of the activity is to support the strengthening of Hemopa's blood supply.

The initiative was organized by the Training and Improvement Course for Soldiers (CFAP) and is part of the training process for new police officers, reinforcing the role of the PM not only in security but also in community support. The students' participation shows the institution's commitment to actions that go beyond visibility.

2nd Lieutenant Érico, an auxiliary officer in the CFAP Student Corps, highlighted the importance of the action in the training process of the soldiers. "This is a solidarity action by the Military Police, which represents not only a gesture of solidarity but also the creation of bonds, especially principles of empathy and civic duty, from the beginning of the training. By donating blood, these students, in addition to saving lives, get closer to society, promoting the values that are established within the police training of the CFAP," said the officer.

According to the Hemopa team, actions like this help maintain services in hospitals and health posts, especially during times when there are fewer donations. Each bag of collected blood can serve up to four patients in different treatments.

For the students, the moment was an opportunity to practice what they learn in the course: being at the service of society. "It's a simple gesture, but it can make a big difference. We donate as citizens, but also as part of our mission as future police officers," commented student soldier Gisele Miranda.

The Military Police of Pará reinforces that solidarity is also part of police work. The action this Saturday, in addition to directly helping those in need, also serves as an invitation to the population to engage in this type of initiative.
