PC conducts patrol and intensifies inspection in Salinópolis during Operation Summer 2025
Joint actions inspect bars and similar establishments and reinforce the fight against sexual harassment and crimes against vulnerable groups

The Civil Police, through the Directorate of Administrative Police (DPA), promoted integrated patrol actions to inspect bars, nightclubs, and beaches in Salinópolis this Friday (11). The action is part of Operation Summer 2025, which reinforces public safety and curbs the irregular operation of establishments, noise pollution, and promotes environmental preservation.
During the inspections, together with teams from the Civil Police and the Fire Department, more than 20 establishments were inspected both in the city and on the beach, and complaints were investigated in these locations. The Specialized Division for Environmental and Animal Protection (Demapa) and the Directorate for Assistance to Vulnerable Groups (DAV) participated in the integrated action.

Delegate Virgínia Grimwood, responsible for the Directorate of Administrative Police (DPA), highlighted the actions this weekend. “The performance of the Directorate of Administrative Police (DPA) during Operation Summer in Salinópolis is essential to ensure that economic and leisure activities occur within legality and public order,” she said.
“Our strategic action reinforces control over establishments that operate with controlled products, events, and public amusements, ensuring that the intense tourist flow of the season does not compromise the safety, tranquility, and quality of life of the local population and visitors. It is an integrated action that demonstrates the Civil Police's commitment to a closer and more effective presence in the most sensitive areas of the State,” the delegate added.

In addition to inspecting establishments, the actions also included approaches aimed at protecting vulnerable groups. “During this joint operation, the DAV is working on raising awareness about the campaign ‘No Means No’, against sexual harassment. We are also promoting the Virtual Deam, a new tool that allows the reporting of violence against women throughout Pará, not just in Belém,” explained Delegate Theo Schüler, director of the Division for Child and Adolescent Assistance (DATA).
