City Park has free performances at the Amphitheater this Sunday (13)
With free admission, the program will feature a show by Pedro Bolha at 5 PM; the Cortejo do Boi Marronzio and the performance of the group Carimbó Coisas de Negro

Diversity, inclusion, and the regionality of Pará marked the program at the Amphitheater of City Park on Saturday (12). The program continues this Sunday (13).
On Saturday, the Samba Gospel group opened the shows at 5 PM, bringing a repertoire of praises in samba rhythm. Then, at 6 PM, the audience enjoyed the PCD show by the Mauro Santos Dance Company, which highlighted inclusion and bodily diversity through contemporary dance.

With five years of history, the company has established itself as a reference in promoting inclusion through art, bringing together children, youth, adults, and the elderly, with or without disabilities, in performances that value diversity and Pará culture.
In its shows, the company combines artistic innovation and social commitment, bringing the Amazonian identity to events inside and outside the country.

“The company was born during the pandemic, with the purpose of promoting inclusion through dance. Today, at City Park, we had the chance to present what is most representative in our repertoire, which ranges from calypso to tango, uniting popular and classical rhythms. It was an opportunity to show the audience the strength of the diversity that moves us and reach those who were not yet familiar with our work,” emphasized Mauro Santos.
The night was concluded with the performance of the parafolkloric group Frutos do Pará, which presented choreographies inspired by Amazonian cultural manifestations, including typical dances and traditional costumes.

The coordinator of Frutos do Pará, Paulo Jorge, highlighted the team's preparation for the performance:
“We have a characteristic work, with musical arrangements specially prepared for our well-known folk songs, which receive a special touch from our musical ensemble. In addition, we have the beautiful choreographies of Nazaré Azevedo, which enchant everyone with a dynamic that is her trademark, without losing authenticity and tradition. Therefore, we are sure that the audience can expect a beautiful folkloric show,” he stated.
Housewife Rita Souza was present during the performances with her family. “The program is beautiful. The structure of the amphitheater is great, and it is very good to see a public space being used to value our local artists,” she said.

The program continues this Sunday (13)
