Department of Finance (Sefa) seizes 3,678 bottles of whiskey and 660 bottles of vodka
Goods did not properly collect the state tax (ICMS)
State revenue inspectors from the State Department of Finance (Sefa), stationed at the Coordination of Goods in Transit in Itinga, Dom Eliseu, northeast of the state, seized on Monday (14) 336 boxes of whiskey and 55 boxes of vodka, goods valued at R$ 322,772.80, which left Aparecida de Goiânia (GO) destined for Marituba in Greater Belém.
“There were 3,678 bottles of whiskey and 660 bottles of vodka. The beverages, subject to the advance collection of ICMS upon entering the Pará territory, entered the state with an invoice, but without the proper collection of the state tax,” explained the coordinator of the Itinga tax unit, Rafael Brasil.
To collect the ICMS and the fine, a Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up, amounting to R$ 218,705.16.
