Detran-PA addresses irregular vehicle and identifies altered document during inspection action in Marituba
Document with signs of forgery is identified during inspection on BR-316
During a routine operation on Tuesday, July 15, a team of inspection agents from the Department of Traffic of the State of Pará (Detran) intercepted a vehicle with administrative pending issues and a driver carrying altered documentation on BR-316, at the inspection post at kilometer 17, in the municipality of Marituba.

The action was triggered after the video monitoring system indicated an alert linked to the vehicle in question. Upon approaching, the agents requested the mandatory documents and identified that the Vehicle Licensing Certificate presented by the driver, although containing seemingly regular information, was printed on paper with irregular data. Additionally, the National Driver's License presented showed signs of forgery, with an expiration date incompatible with the driver's history.
“In light of the facts, we removed the vehicle to the Detran retention park after the necessary procedures were carried out at the 18th Urban Section of Marituba, where the occurrence report was filed. The Civil Police will be responsible for investigating the origin of the altered document and the possible forgery of the CRLV,” explained Ivan Feitosa, coordinator of Operations and Traffic Inspection at Detran.
Detran emphasizes that it will intensify inspections to curb irregular practices, ensuring road safety and the legality of the documents required from drivers.
