Detran provides vehicle regularization services in Salinópolis and Mosqueiro
Licensing, inspection, and property transfer are among the most sought-after services in the seaside resorts this July
To ensure convenience for vacationers visiting the beaches and seaside resorts of Salinópolis and the district of Mosqueiro, the State Department of Transit (Detran) has extra teams in these locations for vehicle regularization this July. The staff is exclusively working on vehicle services to ensure the resolution of any pending issues on-site.
The vehicle registration coordinator at Detran, Enrique Barbosa, explains that the service has been ongoing since the beginning of the Summer Operation at Detran's inspection posts on PA-391 in Benevides and PA-124 at the entrance to Salinópolis.
“It is common for inspections to catch vehicles needing some regularization, and in this case, the driver traveling to Mosqueiro or Salinas can count on this service right there, without major inconveniences,” says Enrique Barbosa.
The goal, according to Barbosa, is to ensure the safety of vacationers and also to allow vehicle regularization so that pending issues do not hinder family fun. So far, overdue licensing is the most sought-after service at Detran's service posts. In addition to this, the agency's teams are also conducting property and jurisdiction transfers, cancellations and inclusions of encumbrances, inspections, first registrations, among others.
Detran emphasizes that the service is provided not only for cases referred by inspection agents but also for those drivers who want to take the opportunity to carry out some service, including those who were unable to schedule an appointment. The extra service in Mosqueiro and Salinópolis is available full-time and will be available until the end of the Summer Operation.
