As part of another front of actions from the "Summer Operation 2025", inspections by the Specialized Division for Environmental and Animal Protection (Demapa) and the Administrative Police Division (DPA) of the Civil Police of Pará have strengthened the fight against noise pollution and the verification of licensing for establishments in the most visited areas by tourists at this time of year.

Mosqueiro Island has received reinforcements for inspections and addressing complaints from the public. The goal is to combat the crime of disturbing the peace and ensure that residents and visitors of the district can enjoy the school holiday period with tranquility.

For those wishing to report irregularities, the Crime Stoppers hotline is available 24 hours a day at the number 181. After the call, police teams will go to the location to verify the occurrence. Confidentiality is guaranteed.

Inspection in Salinópolis

This weekend, with the increase in tourist flow, DPA teams also intensified inspection actions in the municipality of Salinópolis. The inspections were directed at bars, restaurants, show houses, and other public entertainment establishments, focusing on verifying the regularity of operating permits and other requirements set forth in the legislation.

"The permit represents a legal authorization that ensures the establishment operates in accordance with safety and public order criteria, directly contributing to the prevention of accidents and the collective well-being," explained Delegate Marcelo Mendes from the DPA.

Owners wishing to obtain the document must contact the Administrative Police Directorate, present the necessary documentation, and formalize the request for registration and authorization. The process includes a technical analysis of the activity or even a prior inspection.

"Our goal is to ensure that leisure and entertainment occur safely and within the law, preventing risks to the population and promoting a more organized and protected environment for all," reinforced Delegate Marcelo Mendes.

The Summer Operation 2025, launched by the State Secretariat for Public Security and Social Defense (Segup) in June, extends until August, with reinforcements in security forces in more than 50 locations in Pará.
