In Mosqueiro, Vice Governor Hana Ghassan visits COP30 asphalt works and participates in the delivery of the new gateway
In the district of Mosqueiro, 12 streets will be covered by the "Asphalt COP30" program, totaling more than 6.6 kilometers of interventions

The Vice Governor of Pará, Hana Ghassan, was in the district of Mosqueiro, in Belém, on Tuesday (22), where she participated in the delivery of the new Gateway and monitored the progress of the COP30 Asphalt program works in the Airport neighborhood. These are investments that are part of the legacies of the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which will take place in November in the capital of Pará.
"Today, I was able to see the work being done in Mosqueiro as part of the COP30 investments, which include streets with drainage, paving, signage, and sidewalks. Therefore, a complete package of enhancement and urbanization of the Island of Mosqueiro. In November of this year, people from all over the world will be able to know this beautiful place that is Mosqueiro, with wonderful cuisine, a welcoming people, who are receiving services that improve the daily lives of those who live here," said Vice Governor Hana Ghassan.

In Mosqueiro, the Agostinho Trindade and Elna Trindade Avenues and Almerindo Trindade Street have already received drainage, earthworks, and new asphalt. The Vice Governor also monitored the services on Nova Alley, which began on Tuesday (22). The works are carried out by the State Department of Public Works (Seop).
In the district of Mosqueiro, 12 streets will be covered by the "Asphalt COP30" program, totaling more than 6.6 kilometers of interventions aimed at improving mobility and quality of life for the population.

Of the 12 planned streets, 10 have already been fully paved, namely: Vasco da Gama Tr1 Street, Agostinho Trindade Avenue, Elna Trindade Avenue, Almerindo Trindade Street, Vasco da Gama Tr2 Street, São João Avenue, Jardim Maués Street, Marahú Road, Stélio Maroja Street, and Comandante Ernesto Dias Street.

The "Asphalt COP30" program is executed by the State Government and the City Hall of Belém, with support from the Federal Government through Itaipu Binacional. More than 160 streets have already been paved, with about 50 kilometers of works. In total, 35 neighborhoods and districts of the capital will benefit.

Together with the Mayor of Belém, Igor Normando, Vice Governor Hana Ghassan participated in the delivery of the new Mosqueiro Gateway, a postcard for the population and tourists of the island. The site has been under construction since January and included the recovery of the wooden structure, supporting pillars, and restrooms. The space also received a post for the Municipal Guard.
