The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), is promoting the second stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit on July 26 and 27 at City Park in Belém. The competition will gather over 100 athletes of various ages and skill levels at the second largest skatepark in Brazil and the third in Latin America.

The competitions will take place in the categories of children, junior, beginner, master, and amateur, with the participation of skateboarders of all genders. In addition to valuing the sport, the Circuit strengthens urban culture and encourages new talents, highlighting the importance of public investment in sports initiatives that promote inclusion and citizenship.

The first stage was held in early July in Salinópolis. The top competitors in the circuit secure qualification for the Brazilian Skate Championship, scheduled for December in São Paulo.

The Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, celebrated the holding of the stage at the new structure of City Park. "A great event being held at the newly inaugurated skatepark of City Park. For the participating athletes, it is something historic," he stated.

Inaugurated on June 27, City Park is one of the main leisure spaces in the capital during this school vacation period. The structure was delivered for public use before being handed over to the Federal Government for the setup of the infrastructure for the 30th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 30), which will be held in Belém in November 2025.
