Police of Pará receives delegation from PMDF on technical visit for institutional exchange
The Military Police of Pará received on Monday (21) the technical visit of the delegation from the Military Police of the Federal District (PMDF) to the state of Pará. The initiative, which runs until July 26, came to Pará to closely observe the actions and results of the public security policies implemented in Pará. The proposal is to expand the exchange of experiences, adding new knowledge to the training of officers and strengthening already consolidated police practices among the institutions.

The Commander of the Military Police of Pará, Colonel Dilson Júnior, highlighted the importance of exchanging experiences between the corporations and welcomed the PMDF delegation.

"We received the military from the Officer Improvement Course of the Military Police of the Federal District here in Belém, where they were able to have an initial view of our structure, our strategic projects, and the areas of action we develop throughout the state. We hope this week will be productive, with plenty of learning, integration, and exchange of experiences. The Military Police of Pará is open to contribute to the training of each of these professionals who came to closely observe our work, which is in a very specific and unique region, as we have an area surrounded by rivers," said the commander.
The group consists of 24 students from the Officer Improvement Course (CAO 2025) and a senior officer responsible for coordinating the mission.
During the agenda, activities aimed at exchanging experiences regarding the professional training of military police officers are planned, in addition to technical visits to operational units, focusing on logistics, fleet management, acquisition processes, maintenance, and other peculiarities of military police administration.
According to Major QOPM Paulo Roberto Rocha Krohn, head of the delegation, the choice of Pará as the destination for the visit was due to the strategic importance of the state, which will host COP 30 in 2025. “The objective was to improve the officers' skills by getting to know the location that will host COP 30, an event of international significance, and gathering information about the organization of the police, a cutting-edge police force like that of Pará, which faces several challenges due to the territorial extent of its area of operation. We came to strengthen ties, understand the difficulties and advancements, especially in the area of technology, which has been widely employed in policing in Pará. We want to take these experiences back to our capital,” explained the major.
