HRPC promotes action with users and companions to encourage well-being and inclusion
Activity with workplace gymnastics reinforces the commitment of the Regional Hospital of Caetés to the humanization of care in Capanema
As a reference in medium and high complexity in northeastern Pará, the Public Regional Hospital of Caetés (HRPC), located in Capanema, promoted another action aimed at the well-being and inclusion of users and companions. The initiative, organized by the Humanization Working Group (GTH), included a session of workplace gymnastics led by the Physiotherapy team of the unit.
The activity took place in the reception area on the first floor of the hospital and included stretching and dynamics with balls and balloons, stimulating mobility and socialization. The Psychology department also participated in the action, reinforcing the commitment to a lighter, more welcoming, and humanized care.
Assistance physiotherapist Sandra Souza highlighted the benefits of the activity for patients. “It is very important, as users spend a lot of time in their rooms and can lose motor functions. Promoting this moment of relaxation, in a playful way, is essential during the hospitalization period,” she stated.
Clinical psychologist Jeice Bandeira emphasized the importance of psychology's participation. “Moments like this are fundamental for the mental health of users and companions, allowing for relaxation and the creation of bonds,” she said.
Approval from the population
HRPC user Firmina Rosário dos Santos Silva, 59 years old, a resident of São Francisco do Pará, about 90 km from Capanema, is hospitalized after fracturing her tibia and approved the initiative. “I thought it was wonderful to leave the room and be here with my colleagues in this moment of relaxation. I can only thank. Congratulations to the entire team,” she declared.
