Registrations are open from July 28 to July 31, 2025, for the free Digital Literacy Course in Artificial Intelligence, promoted by the Guamá Foundation, the managing institution of the Science and Technology Park (PCT) Guamá. With a duration of 120 hours, the training will take place from August 4 to December 19, in the morning, with in-person classes at PCT Guamá, in Belém.

The initiative aims to democratize access to knowledge in AI, promoting digital and technological inclusion. There will be 20 spots available, distributed as follows: 10 spots for residents of the Guamá and Terra Firme neighborhoods; five spots for students from nearby universities and five spots for students from public schools located near PCT Guamá.

To participate, it is necessary to be at least 16 years old by the date of registration, have basic computer knowledge, and reside in the indicated neighborhoods or be enrolled in educational institutions close to PCT Guamá. Candidates under 18 years old must present written authorization from a legal guardian.

The content includes topics such as prompt engineering, programming in Python, fundamentals of machine learning, and computer vision, with practical application of technologies aimed at the Amazonian reality. The proposal is to stimulate the ethical and creative use of Artificial Intelligence to solve local problems and strengthen the community.

Registrations must be made exclusively through the electronic form.

The list of selected candidates will be published on the Guamá Foundation's website on August 1 (Friday).
