City Park hosts the second stage of the Paraense Skate Circuit
Promoted by the Government of Pará, through Seel, the competition brought together more than 100 athletes from various age groups and skill levels
The Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel), held on the 26th and 27th (Saturday and Sunday), the second stage of the Paraense Skate Street Circuit, at City Park in Belém. The competition brought together more than 100 athletes from various age groups and skill levels, at the second largest skate park in Brazil and the third in Latin America. The event featured the presence of nationally known names, such as Jadson Vasconcelos and João Marcos.
The competitions took place in the categories of Children, Mini, Beginner, Master, and Amateur, with the participation of skateboarders of all genders. In addition to valuing the sport, the Circuit strengthens urban culture and encourages new talents, highlighting the importance of public investment in sports initiatives that promote inclusion and citizenship.
Jadson Vasconcelos and Liliane Silva took home the trophies for the Amateur category, male and female, with technical tricks and a lot of creativity. Athletes from the municipalities of Almeirim, Belém, Cametá, Marabá, Parauapebas, and Tucuruí participated.

Festive competition - The head of Seel, Cássio Andrade, emphasized the importance of the event, stating that "the Government of Pará, in partnership with the Paraense Skate Federation, held here at City Park, the largest public park in Brazil, the second stage of the Paraense Skate championship, with the participation of more than 100 athletes. Many athletes from municipalities in the interior came to participate, compete, and celebrate with the population, which was present during these two days. Many awards, medals, in the Children, Adult, Amateur categories, all here making skateboarding this important sport for Pará, and taking this competition further across Brazil.”
“It was amazing to see everyone gathered, the technical level of the skateboarders, and the positive energy that took over the event,” said Augusto Formiga, one of the organizers of the event.
The expectation now is for the third and final stage of the Paraense Skate Circuit, which will take place in September, at a location and date to be defined by the Federation.
