State Traffic Department holds auction with approximately 250 vehicles

Auction takes place this Thursday (31) for motorcycles and cars

The State Traffic Department (Detran) will hold an auction this Thursday (31) for the sale of approximately 250 vehicles. Various cars and motorcycles will be available, classified between good condition and reusable scrap, manufactured between the years 1991 and 2022. The minimum bids range from R$ 200 to R$ 50,000. The auctions will take place in the cities of Belém, Santarém, Itaituba, Altamira, Marabá, and Parauapebas.

According to Detran, the objective is to transfer vehicles that have been in the agency's retention yards for more than 60 days. These are vehicles sent to the yards due to some irregularity, the main one being the failure to regularize the infractions identified during traffic inspections. In these cases, the vehicles are inspected, and if their owners do not claim them within the legal timeframe, they end up being auctioned, according to the terms of Law No. 9,503/97.

The main advantage of the auctions is the appeal of buying vehicles for prices lower than those practiced in the market, regardless of whether they are in good condition or scrap. For those interested in acquiring one, Detran guarantees agility in the payment process for any vehicles at the auction. In this upcoming auction, participants will be able to start bids with minimum offers starting at R$ 200.

The auction will be held exclusively online, and interested parties need to register at least 48 hours in advance on the site of Vip Leilões, the company responsible for conducting the event.

The complete notice, containing necessary information about all documents, rules, and the list of vehicles to be auctioned, is also available on the site of Detran.
