Six months after being delivered by the Government of Pará on January 29 of this year, the Usina da Paz in Castanhal has already established itself as one of the main spaces for citizenship, public services, and social inclusion in the northeastern region of the State. Daily, free health services, document issuance, legal guidance, professional training, sports, and cultural activities are provided.

In the first six months of operation, the Usina da Paz in Castanhal recorded over 25 thousand free services to the population. This significant volume confirms the importance of the complex as a tool for inclusion and access to basic rights for thousands of residents of the city and neighboring neighborhoods.

Castanhal resident Renata Moreno: "Today I am in the gastronomy course at UsiPaz and it is a personal achievement," she said.

Among the many visitors to the space is Renata Moreno, 41, a resident of the Rouxinol neighborhood. Since the inauguration, she has been part of the Usina's routine. “Today I am in the gastronomy course and it is a personal achievement. I have always dreamed of learning to cook professionally, and now I see that becoming a reality. The Usina has transformed the reality of many people living around here,” she said, excited about the opportunities that have opened up with the training.

Lucinete Ferreira has already taken courses in handicrafts, computer science, sewing, and baking at UsiPaz Castanhal

Another story that exemplifies the impact of the Usina is that of housewife Lucinete Ferreira, 54, who has participated in several training courses offered at the site. “I already have ten certificates here from the Usina. I took courses in handicrafts, computer science, sewing, baking... each one helped me learn something new. It’s an opportunity we didn’t have before,” she stated.

The Secretary of Citizenship Articulation, Elieth Braga, emphasizes that the purpose of the Usinas is precisely to expand the population's access to essential services, with quality and dignity. “Castanhal is an important hub, and with the arrival of the Usina, we are ensuring services, citizenship, and improved living conditions. This space belongs to the people and is for the people,” she highlighted.

The structure of the UsiPaz in Castanhal includes a sports court, swimming pool, theater, classrooms, medical and dental offices, as well as the presence of agencies such as the Civil Police, Public Defender's Office, ParáPaz Foundation, Fire Department, Military Police, among other agencies.

Service - The space operates from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 10 pm, and on weekends, according to the schedule or community demands. The complete schedule of courses and services can be consulted in person or through the official Instagram: @usinasdapaz. The expectation is that the number of services will continue to grow, strengthening the public policy of the Usinas da Paz throughout the State.
