Continuous qualification and excellent assistance ensure over 98% approval for HRPM
The management of the Regional Public Hospital of Marajó (HRPM), located in Breves, on Marajó Island, maintains a continuous commitment to the qualification of its processes and the training of its multiprofessional team, aiming to strengthen the medium and high complexity assistance offered to the population. This ongoing effort is reflected in the results obtained: according to data from the User Service (SAU), the hospital achieved a 98.3% approval rating in the first half of 2025.
With this purpose, the management of HRPM constantly promotes training on Sepsis aimed at nursing professionals. Recently, in the last week of July, the
activity gathered more than 80 participants and focused on strengthening the early recognition and proper management of the condition, contributing to the continuous qualification of the assistance provided.
The training was conducted by the technical director of HRPM, Marcello Ferreira, who emphasized the importance of empowering all professionals involved in the execution of the sepsis protocol: “Empowering the various actors in this orchestra directly impacts the change in clinical outcomes,” he emphasized.
He also highlighted the protagonism of multiprofessional teams in facing sepsis: “Valuing the nursing technician in opening the protocol, as well as recognizing the actions and records of pharmacy and laboratory professionals, is a source of pride for all of us.”
Approval - For Raimundo de Oliveira, 58, who accompanies his father during the hospitalization period in the unit, the experience has been positive: “The service from the professionals is excellent. I feel very secure because the professionals convey confidence and are very competent. This hospital is a blessing for the population,” said the farmer, expressing his satisfaction with the quality of the assistance provided.
Service: The Regional Public Hospital of Marajó is a unit of the public health network of the Government of Pará, managed by the National Institute of Social and Human Development (INDSH), in partnership with the State Department of Public Health (Sespa).
The unit provides medium and high complexity assistance to approximately 300,000 inhabitants of the municipalities linked to the 8th Regional Health Center (CRS) – Breves, Anajás, Bagre, Curralinho, Gurupá, Melgaço, and Portel.
