SuperNorte is organized by the Paraense Association of Supermarkets, with the institutional support of the Government of Pará, through the economic area departments

The Government of Pará, through the Secretariat of Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), will be present at the 26th edition of SuperNorte, which brings the theme "Sustainable Business — Time to Advance with COP30". The event will take place from August 7 to 9, at Hangar – Amazon Convention Center. During the program, Sedeme will present the economic potential of genuinely Pará products, in addition to public policies aimed at sustainable development in the State.

Organized by the Paraense Association of Supermarkets (Aspas), the entity responsible for representing the supermarket sector in Pará, SuperNorte has the support of the State Government, through the Secretariat of Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme).

The Government of Pará integrates the program with an institutional stand, coordinated by the Directorate of Industry, Commerce and Services (DDCIS/Sedeme), which will present the economic potential of Pará companies and cooperatives. Among the highlights are companies such as Xingu Destilados, producer of the artisanal cachaça Xinguaça, based in Altamira; Chocolates Cacau Xingu, located in Brasil Novo, specialized in the manufacture of artisanal chocolates with organic cocoa grown in the Transamazon and Xingu regions; and Pipocas Cor-de-Rosa, an industry located in Castanhal, which offers a varied line of savory snacks and sweet and salty popcorn.

In addition to the companies, the stand will also feature the participation of two cooperatives that strengthen regional entrepreneurship: Cart (Cooperative of Farmers from the Tailândia Region), focused on the production of cashew nuts and mixed almonds; and Amazoncoop (Amazon Agroindustrial Cooperative), based in Castanhal, specialized in ready-to-eat salads and seasonings.

The Secretary of State for Economic Development, Mining and Energy (Sedeme), Paulo Bengtson, emphasizes that SuperNorte is consolidating itself as one of the largest events in the sector, bringing together products, services, and technologies aimed at the supermarket segment. "This year, the event brings an urgent and inspiring theme: 'Sustainable Business — Time to Advance with COP30'. COP30 is coming, and Belém is ready to show that development and ecological awareness can walk hand in hand," he said.

Bengtson highlights that during the three days of the event, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen relationships and create strategic connections among entrepreneurs, leaders, and suppliers. The proposal is to present the economic potential of Pará products, open new markets, and boost businesses committed to the conscious production of goods and services. "This is the time to show that our region is prepared to be a global protagonist in building a greener and more innovative future," he added.

"SuperNorte seeks to connect the supermarket sector with the discussions and opportunities brought by COP30, especially regarding sustainability and regional development. One of our goals is to integrate the sector into the discussions that COP presents to us," explains the president of Aspas, Jorge Portugal.
