Codec organizes seminar in São Domingos do Capim focusing on development and job creation
Event scheduled for September 10 will focus on enhancing the municipality's potential and generating jobs and income
With the aim of boosting the economic development of São Domingos do Capim, the Pará Economic Development Company (Codec), in partnership with the Municipal City Hall, advanced this Wednesday (6) in organizing the Economic Development Seminar that will be held in the municipality. The virtual meeting defined the format and date of the event, which is scheduled to take place on September 10, from 9 AM to 1 PM. The location will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
The initiative is part of a strategic agenda that began on July 2, when Codec presented the work plan to the local management. More than just a one-time event, the seminar aims to create a space for dialogue and collective construction, where the municipality can present its productive potentials, discuss concrete actions, and enhance its attractiveness for new investments.
During the meeting, the advisor of the Strategy and Institutional Relations Directorate of Codec, Evandro Diniz, presented the structure of the seminar and emphasized the importance of mapping the economic vocations of the municipality. “It is in this survey that the municipality begins to outline its future. When we show the investor that we are prepared, the results come,” he highlighted.
The manager of Development and Economic Studies at Codec, Aline Tavares, also participated in the meeting and emphasized the need to qualify local teams that work directly with the productive sector.
“More than presenting data, it is necessary to train interlocutors prepared to talk to those who want to invest. Development requires strategy and structure,” she stated.
The manager also highlighted that Codec offers training with specialized professionals, aiming to technically prepare municipal teams and strengthen the relationship with the productive sector.
Institutional support and local expectations
The institutional director of the São Domingos do Capim City Hall, Kleiton Sampaio, reinforced the importance of the seminar for the municipality. “The municipality is looking forward to hosting the event, as the management has been seeking initiatives aimed at local development, focusing on job and income generation,” he declared.
Also participating in the meeting from Codec were the foreign trade manager, Eduardo Rodrigues, and from the City Hall the representatives Dinael Moreira (Department of Sustainable Development Goals), Hilda Brasil (Mayor's Office), Roseane de Nazaré Teixeira (municipal secretary of Environment and Sustainability), in addition to members of the directorates of Studies, Projects, and the municipal secretariats of Administration and Finance.
