On the morning of this Thursday (7), teams from the Division for Combating Crimes Against Vulnerable Groups Committed by Cyber Means (DCCV) launched the second phase of the operation "Safe Network" aimed at combating crimes that violate the sexual dignity of children and adolescents, specifically regarding the storage of child sexual abuse material.

“During today’s operations, three search and seizure warrants were executed at the homes of individuals investigated for storing child pornography. During the searches, a man was arrested in the act, as videos of sexual abuse were found on his cell phone. The device was seized along with another mobile device belonging to him, as well as USB drives and seven hard drives,” explained Delegate Lua Figueiredo, head of the DCCV.

The division, linked to the State Directorate for Combating Cyber Crimes (DECCC), also had the participation of experts from the State Scientific Police (PCEPA) who will analyze the seized objects. The report will be used for a complete clarification of the facts.

The warrants were executed in the neighborhoods of Curió-Utinga, Umarizal, and Sacramenta. “The operation reinforces the work carried out by the DECCC in combating crimes related to the abuse and sexual exploitation of children and adolescents via the internet in the state of Pará. Any reports of these criminal practices can be made anonymously and free of charge,” concluded the delegate.

Report - All information regarding the abuse of children and adolescents can be reported through the Disque-Denúncia, at the number 181, or via WhatsApp (91) 98115-9181, with Iara. In both cases, confidentiality and anonymity are guaranteed.
