Residents of Guamá have access to health and citizenship services in another edition of 'Por Todas Elas'
Hundreds of people went to the Usina da Paz in the neighborhood, where more than 30 services were offered for free, from consultations with health professionals to guidance from the Public Defender's Office

The Guamá neighborhood, the most populous in Belém, with over 80,000 residents, hosted another edition of the "Por Todas Elas" Program, an initiative of the Government of Pará aimed at promoting women's participation in society by providing guidance and health, leisure, and citizenship services for women. The event took place at the Usina da Paz in the neighborhood, gathering hundreds of people on the morning of this Saturday (9).

More than 30 completely free services were offered, such as document issuance, medical and dental care, eye exams and selection of frames for the creation of prescription glasses, rapid tests for disease detection, vaccination, health guidance for women, preventive exams, and referrals for specialized tests. The program also included aesthetic services, health care for pets, guidance from the State Public Defender's Office, prize draws, delivery of benefits from the CredCidadão Program, cultural presentations, and recreational activities for children and adolescents.

During the event, Governor Helder Barbalho expressed his satisfaction in participating in another edition of the citizenship promotion program.
"I thank God for the opportunity to be here. It is a great joy to be part of another edition of 'Por Todas Elas', a program that offers various services for women and also for men, who are preparing for Father's Day today. More than 30 services are being offered here at the Usina do Guamá," emphasized the governor.

Close to the population - Hana Ghassan, the State's Vice Governor, responsible for the idealization and coordination of "Por Todas Elas", highlighted the importance of bringing essential services to communities. "Today we are bringing health care, citizenship, and credit programs, as well as services to improve women's self-esteem. It is important for the State government to be close to the population, providing services and listening to people. 'Por Todas Elas' is that. It is the empowerment of women in society, in politics, and as citizens of our State. It is important to be here with an increasing number of services. We will continue to advance, more and more," emphasized the vice governor.

Guamá resident Maria Batista was one of those who received consultations and eye exams. "I feel very well received here. The service was great and quick. I have already had my consultations and exams, and now I just have to wait for the delivery of my new glasses. These services are very good because the community is in need. I hope there will be more," said Maria.
Another beneficiary was Rosenilda Pantoja, who took advantage of the medical care and secured a referral for specialized exams at the Hospital da Mulher do Pará, a reference for women's health care and assistance in the State. "I think the Usina da Paz was the best thing that happened in our neighborhood. I take advantage of all the actions here with my family. Today, I came early and, thank God, I was already attended to. I got a referral to the Hospital da Mulher, which is a great place to take care of our health," assured the resident.

Protagonism - Created in 2024, the Por Todas Elas Program is an initiative of the Government of Pará that encourages discussions about the importance of women's participation and protagonism in society, ensuring services and rights. The Program has already traveled to municipalities in various regions, offering more than 110,000 services.

"This is a government program that brings the State closer to the community, with a range of health services and also in the area of citizenship, which streamlines services and makes life easier for citizens," emphasized the State Secretary of Citizenship Coordination, Elieth Braga.
