The Civil Police of the State of Pará, through the Tourist Protection Delegacy (DPTur) and the Civil Police Academy (Acadepol), opens the registration period for the free training course for professionals who work in tourist assistance. Classes will take place on August 23 and 30, and September 06 and 13.

The goal is to train professionals from various sectors who work in hotels, restaurants, security, shopping malls, and who deal directly with public service.

“Registrations are already open and will be made online, through a link. The deadline to secure a spot is until August 25. Our goal is to train professionals who deal directly or indirectly in the tourism sector, with practical and intensive activities, focusing on humanized service to national and foreign tourists,” said delegate Waldir Freire, director of Acadepol.

Classes will take place at the Teatro Maria Sylvia Nunes, located in Warehouse 1 of the Estação das Docas, and will be divided into four blocks, where techniques of Amazonian hospitality, intercultural communication, basic first aid, and public safety protocols will be addressed.

“We will have a single class that will meet for 4 consecutive Saturdays in the morning. The number of registrants will be limited to 250 available spots. It is very important that interested parties register soon to secure their spot,” explained delegate Guilherme Gonçalves, head of DPTUR.

After the end of the course, students will be certified by Acadepol.
