In the first seven months of 2025 alone, 60,292 companies were opened in Pará, a growth of 22.8% compared to the same period last year. This is an advancement in the economic segment, recorded by the Commercial Registry of the State of Pará (Jucepa), resulting from modernization investments made by the state government, as well as the seriousness and commitment of the registry's servers, such as Geraldo Gouveia, who has been formalizing thousands of businesses in the vast territory of Pará for 16 years.

The social reflection of this work is highlighted by Geraldo. “Many of those we assist are family breadwinners trying to move out of informality. Our role here is to ensure legal security and agility, as each formalized company represents a new opportunity to support the household with dignity,” he states.

Security and efficiency - Since 2024, under the leadership of Jucepa, President Filipe Meireles emphasizes that the advancements facilitate the path for those who wish to undertake, offering a more modern, secure, and efficient business environment.

“Technology has been our ally, with the implementation of Redesim (National Network for Simplification of the Registration and Legalization of Companies and Businesses) and the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence in the analysis and processing of processes,” explains the manager.

According to him, the role of the Registry goes beyond the formalization of companies; it is also a commitment to future generations. “Transforming Jucepa is also transforming the lives of thousands of families who depend on entrepreneurship to advance. When we facilitate this process, we strengthen not only companies but dreams, many of which are supported by those seeking better conditions for their families,” reinforces Filipe Meireles.

With a 16-year trajectory at the Registry, Antônio Edson emphasizes that “being here for so long, witnessing this modernization process of Jucepa, is challenging. However, I feel good to be part of this saga and deliver good work. I believe that the public does perceive this investment.”

Integration - Roberto Canelas, with 13 years of work at Jucepa, highlights the technological transformation, led by solutions developed especially for the reality of Pará.

“The Registry is in constant modernization, experiencing a phase of changes with AI, for example. Our Artificial Intelligence is unique because it was trained by us. People are noticing these advancements. So much so that they trust to carry out various processes through digital channels, which has brought even closer those in the interior,” he emphasizes.

Servers like Geraldo, Antonio, and Roberto help shape, every day, a more efficient Commercial Registry, capable of strengthening the future of Pará.
