Sefa seizes five tons of electrical material and installation accessories
The cargo was addressed to an individual. Due to the large quantity of goods, the operation was characterized by Sefa as commercial intent

State revenue inspectors seized, on Tuesday, the 12th, five tons of electrical material and installation accessories with an irregular invoice. The goods, valued at R$ 269,000.00, left São Leopoldo (RS), destined for Benevides (PA). The officials are assigned to the Coordination of Control of Goods in Transit, of the State Department of Finance (Sefa) of Gurupi, located in the municipality of Cachoeira do Piriá, northeastern Pará, bordering Pará and Maranhão.
"After the start of the inspection and delivery of the tax documents, the officials, upon analyzing the presented tax documentation, observed that the cargo was addressed to an individual. Due to the large quantity of goods, the truck was taken to the warehouse for physical verification, and various electrical materials such as cables and installation trays were found,” said the coordinator of the tax unit, Gustavo Bozola.
The operation was characterized as commercial intent due to the large quantity of goods. “There would be a loss due to the non-collection of the differential ICMS rate (Difal),” summarized the state revenue inspector.
A Seizure and Deposit Term (TAD) was drawn up in the amount of R$ 48,593.65, referring to the tax and fine.
