With the support of the Government of Pará, Remo U-13 wins the Taça Brasil de Futsal in Goiânia
The blue team defeated Fluminense in penalties and secured an unprecedented national title for the Pará futsal base

The Clube do Remo, in the U-13 category, won the Taça Brasil de Futsal on the morning of this Saturday (16) in Goiânia (GO), with the support of the Government of Pará, through the State Secretariat of Sports and Leisure (Seel). The blue team defeated Fluminense (RJ) in the final, on penalties, by a score of 5 to 4, after a 1 to 1 draw in regular time, at the Goiânia Arena Gymnasium. The championship is promoted by the Brazilian Confederation of Futsal (CBFS).
The State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted the importance of the achievement.
“Another important victory for the athletes who represented our state in a grand competition of the category. The delegation from Clube do Remo received support from the Government for food, air transport, and accommodation. We invest in the promotion and appreciation of Pará sports,” he emphasized.

The achievement also moved the families. Bruna Virgolino, mother of athlete Lucas Virgolino Kato, 13 years old, did not hide her happiness at seeing her son lift the trophy.
“It’s an indescribable emotion! As a mother, seeing my son lifting the Taça Brasil is proof that all the effort and dedication were worth it. My heart overflows with gratitude and happiness to see him realizing this dream,” she stated.
She also highlighted the government support as decisive for the result. “The support from Seel was fundamental in this achievement. This support makes all the difference because it shows that we are not alone and that Pará sports have value and recognition,” she added.
Investments in sports
The Government of Pará, through Seel, has already benefited more than a thousand athletes with support for participation in national and international competitions. Each athlete can request up to three supports per year – two for national tournaments and one for an international event – covering expenses such as tickets, registrations, and accommodation.

Only in 2024, 1,365 athletes were supported, with an investment of approximately R$ 4.7 million, a resource that made it possible to realize the dream of competing in major events representing the State.
