Civil Police arrests duo in the act for aggravated robbery and organized crime
One of the suspects was arrested in Santa Maria, with the support of the Federal Highway Police, and the other was located in the rural area of Augusto Corrêa

The teams from the Bragança Police Station arrested two men in the act for aggravated robbery on Saturday, the 16th. The suspects allegedly invaded a cell phone store in downtown Bragança, from where 32 new devices were taken, valued at approximately R$ 40,000.00.
After the crime, the police immediately began their investigations, analyzing internal circuit images, conducting surveillance, and gathering information in the field. The police from the Investigation Support Nucleus (NAI) of Capanema also worked together with the teams from the Bragança Police Station.
“The investigation allowed us to identify one of the criminals who, while fleeing, tried to return to his home in Marituba by taxi. The PC team informed the Federal Highway Police about the occurrence, which carried out the approach at the Santa Maria barrier, resulting in the arrest of the suspect and the seizure of eight of the new stolen cell phones,” detailed delegate Rayrton Carneiro, head of the Caeté Regional Superintendence.
During interrogation, the arrested individual confessed to the crime and pointed out the involvement of his accomplice. The team went to the Aturiari community, in the rural area of Augusto Corrêa, where the second participant was found and arrested. “A firearm used in the crime, a .380 caliber pistol with ten rounds, and eight more stolen devices from the store were seized from him. Both were charged in the act for qualified robbery and organized crime and are at the disposal of the Justice,” concluded the delegate.

The duo also stated that part of the stolen items was handed over to a criminal faction as a form of payment for the so-called “crime fee.” The Civil Police of Pará reaffirms its commitment to combating organized crime.
