Public school students take the lead in activities at the Seduc booth
Among the activities offered, the workshop 'Video Production in Virtual Reality' presented recording and editing techniques for 360° content
With creative workshops, book launches, and exhibitions, public school students have been the protagonists of the activities promoted at the booth of the State Department of Education (Seduc) at the 28th Pan-Amazonian Book Fair and Multivoices, in Belém. The initiative integrates technology, innovation, and pedagogical practices that value youth protagonism and practical learning.

In the workshop "Video Production in Virtual Reality," held this Tuesday (19), recording and editing techniques for 360° content were presented, using virtual reality glasses.
The professor from the Center for Innovation and Sustainability in Basic Education (Ciseb), Relinaldo Oliveira, emphasized the importance of involving students in this technological universe. “We showed the students how to produce 360-degree videos, using specific cameras that are already part of Ciseb's collection. Our goal is to train these young people so they can implement this knowledge in their schools, documenting pedagogical activities and sharing them on different platforms, such as YouTube. It is a way to strengthen learning and give visibility to school practices,” he explained.
According to the professor, Seduc's presence at the event reinforces the convergence between education, innovation, and sustainability. “Ciseb is now a regional and national reference. Being here shows that technology and sustainability are already part of the school routine, stimulating student protagonism and their engagement in knowledge construction,” he added.

Experience - Student Samara Nayane, from the 3rd year of High School at the Antônio Teixeira Gueiros State School, located in the municipality of Ananindeua (Metropolitan Region of Belém), said that the workshop was “very interesting. It was a new experience; I learned a lot. I liked the interview part. I didn’t know I could participate like this and be a protagonist. It was really cool.”
The program at the Seduc booth also included the launch of books produced by the students themselves, inspired by their experiences, as well as exhibitions of literary posters, technological workshops, and environmental education activities.

The Seduc space is part of the 28th Pan-Amazonian Book Fair and Multivoices, promoted by the Government of Pará, coordinated by the State Department of Culture (Secult), and will be open for visitation until Friday (22).
