Cultural Foundation of Pará receives Boi de Máscaras and Marujada Bragantina this Wednesday at the Pan-Amazonian Book and Multivoices Fair
In addition to these two attractions, the FCP booth also features an art exhibition, writers, discussions, and book launches from the northeastern region of Pará.

The programming of the FCP booth at the 28th Pan-Amazonian Book and Multivoices Fair has a schedule in three time slots: it starts at 10 AM and ends its activities at 8:30 PM. It features presentations from the Boi de Máscaras de São Caetano de Odivelas and the Marujada Bragantina, which livens up the night in the style of northeastern Pará.
The first program, which starts at 10 AM and ends at 12 PM, includes the exhibition Maria Luzia de Jesus Gualberto and the chat “Cabocas Leem, Cabocas Escrevem: Voices of Northeastern Pará,” led by Lucideyse Abreu. The works address the resistance and representativity of artists and writers from the region.
During the afternoon shift, from 3 PM to 5 PM, the booth hosts writer Geovane Belo for a poetic dialogue about the children's book “Para Meu Pai, o Boto,” which recounts the myth of the Boto from the social imaginary and the perspective of the main character in a re-signified and questioning manner. There will also be the launch of the book “Imaginary Needs” and the Circle of Reading Poems.
The last program of the night will feature a chat led by Rondi Palha about the “Visual Aesthetics of Boi de Máscaras: Buchudos, Masks, and Visuality,” followed by the presentation of the Boi de Máscaras and the Marujada Bragantina. Ângela Maria concludes the third day of programming with a chat about “Literature, Knowledge, Art, and Life: the Cametaense Writing of Authors from ALC/Cametá.”
The exhibition on the third day of activities at the booth of the Cultural Foundation of Pará celebrates the memory, resistance, and life of northeastern Pará.
