With support from Emater, calf producer accesses credit of R$ 200 thousand in Xinguara
The amount will be invested in improving the production of breeding cattle and in the producer's property

The Government of Pará, through the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company of the State of Pará (Emater-Pará), held, this Friday (29), the signing of the release of credit of more than R$ 200 thousand for a livestock producer in the municipality of Xinguara, in the Araguaia Integration Region.

“I have been assisted by Emater for 15 years and since I started receiving technical assistance from them, things have improved a lot. The approved projects and the money received have helped a lot in my production,” said producer Domingos Narde.
The signing took place at the Banco da Amazônia (Basa) agency in Xinguara, a partner of the Government of Pará in promoting and accessing public policies for farming families. The local office in Xinguara has already secured around R$ 2 million in rural credits for family farmers in the region this year alone.
“Domingos has been assisted by us for quite some time. He works with calf production and this approved project will be converted into breeding cattle, invested in the property to improve calf production,” said Luciano Almeida, head of the local office in Xinguara.
