Mangueirão hosts another great musical event and is already preparing for new attractions
The "Entrelaçados" Festival brought thousands of people to the venue, which will also host the Great Meeting For A Better World this September, promoted by Rock in Rio and The Town, through the Amazônia Live – Today and Always initiative.
The Olympic Stadium of Pará – Journalist Edgar Proença (Mangueirão) was the stage for the "Entrelaçados" event this Saturday (30), which gathered thousands of people for a night of music and celebration. The lineup included DJ Cayan Ribeiro; Limão com Mel; country artist Thiago Costa; Simone Mendes and Seu Desejo. The nationally acclaimed group Limão com Mel moved the audience with great forró hits.
The State Secretary of Sports and Leisure, Cássio Andrade, highlighted Mangueirão as a consolidated space for hosting major shows.
“Another great event at our New Mangueirão, a stage for sports and leisure. We welcome successful artists and bands to provide entertainment and fun for the audience, who enjoyed every moment of this great gathering,” he stated.
Upcoming events at Mangueirão
The stadium's schedule remains busy. On September 20, Belém will host the Great Meeting For A Better World, promoted by Rock in Rio and The Town, through the Amazônia Live – Today and Always initiative. The main attractions will be Ivete Sangalo, Viviane Batidão, and the Lambateria Baile Show, featuring Lia Sophia. The expectation is to gather around 46,000 people.
On October 10, the eve of the Círio de Nazaré, Mangueirão will host the country duo Henrique & Juliano, in a show that will also feature Grelo, Nattan, and DJ Celine.

More than just a sports arena, Mangueirão is establishing itself as a stage for major national and international events. Its modern infrastructure ensures comfort and safety for the audience, strengthening Belém's image as a city capable of hosting large-scale shows.
Amazônia Para Sempre
Amazônia Para Sempre is an initiative by the creators of Rock in Rio and The Town that aims to draw attention to the socio-environmental urgencies of the Amazon. The project anticipates discussions that will be on the agenda at COP 30, which will be held in Belém, highlighting topics such as climate change, energy transition, and biodiversity preservation.
