Cultural Foundation of Pará opens registrations for podcast workshop focused on storytelling
The activity offers 10 spots and registrations can be made through an electronic form until Wednesday (3). Classes will be held from September 8 to 12, at the Maker Lab of the Casa da Linguagem, in Belém.
The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP), in partnership with the State Secretariat for Science, Technology, Higher Education, Professional and Technological Education (Sectet), is open for registrations for the Workshop "Podcast focused on Storytelling," which will take place from September 8 to 12, at the Maker Lab of the Casa da Linguagem, in Belém. Registrations can be made until this Wednesday (4), through the electronic form available here.
Targeted at individuals aged 14 and above, the workshop aims to introduce participants to the world of narrative podcasts, focusing on creating immersive stories through narration techniques, sound effects, and creative use of voice. During the classes, students will learn to script, record, and edit episodes, using resources such as original voice, foley (sound effects created manually by the students themselves), and other sound elements.
The workshop's curriculum includes: Introduction to types of podcasts, presenting narration techniques for podcasts and the use of original voice in sound narrative; as well as addressing the research and scripting process for stories and techniques for recording and editing episodes. This initiative is part of the Amazon Maker project, which aims to prepare participants for the job market, enhance their digital skills, and promote digital inclusion. Registrations are free and conducted exclusively online.
Free of charge - Registrations for the workshop are free for students from public schools (Elementary and High School), users of Infocentro, children under 12 years old, people with disabilities (PCDs), and seniors aged 60 and above. It is necessary to present proof of enrollment or school ID at the time of registration. For students from private schools, university students, and other interested parties, a symbolic fee of R$ 20.00 will be charged, to be paid in cash at the time of in-person confirmation.
Registration must be done online, in a practical and accessible manner. However, the spot will only be guaranteed upon in-person confirmation on September 4, at the Curro Velho secretary's office. Registrants will receive an email on September 3 with instructions for attendance. At the time of confirmation, it is necessary to present ID, CPF, proof of residence, documents that guarantee exemption (if applicable), and pay the fee, if applicable.
