The Cultural Foundation of Pará (FCP) is open for registrations until Wednesday (3) for the 3D Character Creation and Modeling workshop. Classes will be held from September 8 to 19, Monday to Friday, from 2 PM to 6 PM, at the Curro Velho Workshop Center in Belém. Registrations for the 15 available spots must be made through the electronic form available here.

The content will cover body construction techniques and canon in the human figure, composition in character creation, and creating a character using model sheet, as well as exploring topics such as blocking with basic shapes to structure a head and parts of the human body, finishing with character topology and texturing and creating a rendered image of the created character.

“I will teach a bit of the character creation process that I have developed over more than 10 years of experience with animation and the standards used in the market to create iconic and unique characters, considering the individual experience of the student living in Pará. Additionally, I will teach 3D modeling techniques, sculpting, and mesh adaptation for characters,” informs the workshop instructor, Woylle Masaki.

Free of charge - Registrations for the workshop are free for students from public schools (Elementary and High School), Infocentro users, children under 12 years old, people with disabilities (PCDs), and seniors aged 60 and above. It is necessary to present proof of enrollment or a school ID at the time of registration. For students from private schools, university students, and other interested parties, a symbolic fee of R$ 20.00 will be charged, to be paid in cash at the time of in-person confirmation.

Registration must be done online, in a practical and accessible way. However, the spot will only be guaranteed upon in-person confirmation on September 4 at the Curro Velho secretary's office. Registrants will receive an email on September 3 with instructions for attendance. At the time of confirmation, it is necessary to present an ID, CPF, proof of residence, documents that guarantee exemption (if applicable), and pay the fee, if applicable.

The activity totals 40 hours of workload, and students with at least 80% attendance will receive a participation certificate.
